HARC is a non-profit charitable corporation [501(c)(3)] whose purpose is to provide support to children and youth with mental challenges, as well as their families.
HARC was developed in 2004, and is housed on the campus of Gethsemane United Methodist Church in Houston, TX.
HARC supports children and families through a Parents Night Out program, as well as other programs coming in the days to come.
HARC's Purpose Statement
"The corporation (HARC) is organized exclusively for charitable purposes. Our corporation exists to provide support to young individuals, and the families and caregivers of those individuals in the metropolitan area of Houston , Texas , that face problems associated with some personal level of mental health or mental retardation challenges."
